Born and raised in the city, I am a New Yorker to the core. I’ve seen this island at its worst and made it through in one piece; so it’s reasonable to say I would like to continue living and working in an urban environment for years to come. In the past I have freelanced as a 3D computer artist and animator, ironwork designer, and product designer/developer. Today I am a full time teacher and bladesmith.
2017 I won Forged In Fire (a competition knife and sword making show on the History channel) twice, becoming the third Forged In Fire champion of champions. The winnings from the show allowed me to grow my tiny shop into a small school, and 2019 we moved into Industry City to grow the school and add the storefront.

For Knife for Step SonTheo was a delight from beginning to end. He offered suggestions, provided his opinion on the direction and aesthetics of the knife, kept me updated with progress. The knife is a gift and altho I have not presented it yet, I feel it will be a hit. Proceed with confidence with this artist -- you have chosen wisely :)

For Michael's Straight RazorsWas great working with Theo. Kept me abreast of the projects progression every step of the way with pictures and videos and while it took slightly longer than I anticipated I never felt like I was in the dark. Look forward to additional projects down the line!

For Kitchen knifeThis was such a great project. I have a couple just got married and they love cooking. I thought a custom kitchen knife would be great. What i loved about buying this was that i felt like i was part of the process. I saw the forging, could ask questions about how the process worked etc.
Also- Need to mention that the picture does not do this justice. This is just beautiful!
Thanks!
