Knotty Alder Entry Door
This was an entry door made for a client utilizing Knotty Alder. This wood has multiple knots and splits in it, that in my opinion add to the rustic character of the wood. These splits and knots are filled with black epoxy to highlight their rustic nature. The entire door was finished with a pecan stain and a coat of clear polyurethane for long lasting protection.

Hello all, Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a full time fire captain here in Tucson. If you are familiar with firefighters schedules, you realize I have quite a bit of time off for other pursuits. I do woodworking focused around custom doors, cabinets, boxes, etc. I love the challenge of each unique project!
I learned woodworking from my maternal grandfather, who was an amazing artist. He had a complete shop that I practically grew up in. I remember cutting out rubber band guns and other implements on the band saw as a young child. As I got older he taught me to use more and more tools.
As evidenced by my job, I am not the type of person who can make the same widget over and over again. I enjoy the custom process, where every design is new and fresh and exciting. Please consider me for your next wood project and I look forward to meeting you!

For King Bed5.0Eric was great to work with from working out the design of our bed to the construction and delivery of our bed. We had hesitations of commissioning such a large and expensive piece of furniture from a builder that we have never met or had any contact with before but Eric assured us that he was capable of building the bed and understood our hesitations. Eric's communication through the site was very prompt and offered suggestions on design elements that would work well and inline with what we wanted. The bed was delivered as expected and was exactly what we wanted. After seeing the bed in person we could tell that Eric is a skilled craftsman and knew what he was doing when he constructed our bed. We are so happy to have such a nice, solid piece of furniture that was designed and made just for us. Thank you so much for making this as easy as possible and a awesome piece of furniture.

For storage bench5.0Eric was very accommodating and easy to work with. I had no problems with communication. He was prompt to respond to any questions that I had and curtious at all times. He had no problem working with me on the payment for the benches and even provided a few options for delivery in order to ensure the lowest cost impact to me as possible. Completion of the product was prompt and pick-up/delivery was trouble-free. I would definitely work with Eric again. Not only was the entire process a breeze, but my husband, children and myself absolutely LOVED the finished product!
