Gerald was wonderful to work with, made a beautiful blanket chest for me and was very reasonably priced for what I wanted. I stumbled on CustomMade after searching for the specific size chest I needed (and not finding it), and within one day I was communicating with Gerald about the specifics. He had excellent suggestions that made the final product much better, and worked with me as my ideas evolved. I have the beautifully crafted chest in my home after only two weeks! Thank you, Gerald! Working with Gerald was a pleasure. He communicated on every step of the project and the value is great. The frames are just what I wanted.The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was because the rabbets on all of the frames were uneven and inconsistent. I had to use woodworking tools to make the pictures fit properly. That being said, I would certainly use Gerald again, however, I would probably request a deeper rabbet to be on the safe side.

I absolutely LOVE my new business card holder. I was originally going to use it for my waiting room, but it was so pretty I had to put it on my desk. I am commissioning a second one for my waiting room. It is just polished enough to bring out the natural beauty of the wood, without making it super shiny, and the cards sit very nicely level in the holder (because I'm a little neurotic about that sort of thing). I would highly recommend Gerald's work, it's beautiful!!

My project came out great! It was great working with Gerald. Project completed on time for Christmas, and there was good communication along the way. My wife loves her gift.
