Asian Inspired Steel Archway
I made this for a client in Florida as an entryway to their garden. it's made of mild steel and intended to rust. It's accented with cut steel filigree. it stands 10' tall, is 6' at its widest point , and 30" deep.

I'm an artist, art teacher, and furniture designer/builder located in Athens Georgia. I've been creating custom furniture pieces, architectural details, pergolas, and sculptures for local clients in the south east for the past ten years. I specialize in pieces which emphasize the intersection of modern minimalism and craftsman design. Using this unusual combination I've created a hybrid style that is all my own. I use new and recycled materials including metal, stone, and wood, depending on what best suits the project. I have a fine arts background, and am classically trained as a sculptor. I approach every new project as a unique piece of art specifically tailored to the needs and desires of the client.
I'm happy to take jobs anywhere in the continental US, but I only personally deliver and install to the states neighboring Georgia. Shipping on oversized items can greatly increase the overall price of the item depending on size, weight, and distance.

Jul 24, 2013The coffee table made by Cold forge Studio is an amazing piece of art! We provided an extremely rare slab of Holly wood and a rough idea. What we got back exceeded our expectations by far! I cannot praise Cold forge Studio enough. From the approach, over the design development to the execution: everything was 100% professionally done. The woodwork in itself is amazing but the idea to join it with the perfectly crafted steel base is priceless and the way it was made is unmatched and better then everything else I have seen so far! We as well got video/ picture updates of all steps throughout this project. We were in constant contact and at no point we had an unanswered question. We were contacted for clarification on several occasions so we could make all decisions that influenced the outcome of the project.
