Mark does very good work at a reasonable price and can deliver on time. The piece he did for me looks very nice and I am pretty pleased with it. I can recommend him to others – but I will add one caveat: make sure you are clear upfront with your specifications and communicate frequently during the design and production process. Because in my original RFP I stated (sort of offhandedly I suppose) that I wanted a bar cart that could accommodate standard off-the-shelf wine glass stems (the more economical ones made by Libbey and such, etc.). Unfortunately, that spec was not met due to a communication error. In the grand scheme of things it’s a relatively minor thing and it does not take away from the look of the work, which is pristine. But it would have been a nice-to-have. So the bottom line is: Mark is a very talented craftsman who delivers well-made and elegant pieces but be sure to state your specifications very specifically upfront.

Working with Mark was a pleasure. I set out to have something very special made for my fiancé and wanted her memory box to be something she cherishes for the rest of her life. Mark did an incredible job and went above and beyond to make sure that he met my expectations. He put as much passion into this project as I would have if I were capable of marking such a beautiful piece. I highly recommend Mark for any of your projects. He is timely, professional, and charismatic.
