Upcycled Folding Chess Table
This is an example project. The piece pictured has been sold. Folding Chess Table by Banksville79 Using a salvaged, vintage, wood folding table we rescued from our local Swap Shop, Steve removed the old, damaged inset top and replaced it with his hand-cut and painted 1/2" Masonite chess board. We protected the chess board with 3 coats of matte finish polyurethane and cleaned up the table, but retained the rich patina and vintage look. The results are a fantastic upcylcled folding chess table! As you can see from the pictures it is the perfect height for gaming, and it folds up neatly to store flat against the wall. When opened for use it is remarkably stable and sturdy. Dimensions: Square size 2.5" Table height 27.25" Table top 27" square (Chess pieces are not included.) Please contact us with any questions.
