Pantry Cabinet

This is free standing furniture, not built in, however due to it's size and the weight of the doors and individual shelves, it must be secured either to a wall or the floor. This cabinet stands 80" tall, and just barely made it into the customer's home. The doors are solid wood, rails, with a floating panel construction. I also did the crown molding myself. The interior of the cabinet has 5 drawers for storage, including a center drawer specifically made to house CD's and DVD's. The doors are held on by 4 sturdy 155deg open hinges allowing for the cabinet's drawers to slide out fully with no interference. The bottom two drawers are designed for heavy duty and can hold 200lbs each. The 4 main storage shelves are made from solid wood sides and 3/4 plywood bases. This project was completed out of Ash and Ash Plywood, however the design can easily be updated to your choice of materials. The finish is a wipe on stain, and a spray on conversion varnish clear coat.
