Japanese Maple Leave Pouch With Leather Strap

$35

This pouch measures about 7" wide, 5" tall when folded, about 7" wide, and 8" tall when unfolded. It's just the perfect size to fit all the essential things you need to keep close. Actual leaves from a rare Hana Matoi Japanese Maple tree are used for printing on linen fabric. Given that these leaves are almost feathery, they leave a great texture once printed on the bag. Over time, this may slightly fade, but colors will still stay vivid. This is hand-printed so each pouch is unique. The tanned leather strap may also be tucked under fold to make the pouch a cute little clutch bag. Please allow about 2 weeks to make and ship your pouch.

I am an industrial designer with a home workshop near Philadelphia, PA. I am a mother of two little boys, and a maker of things whenever I have a free hand.

I work with natural materials to create functional and meaningful pieces that will last a lifetime or longer. I allow the natural materials to "be themselves," or I let their natural characteristics become the character of the finished piece.

My pieces are sold in local boutiques and museum shops, as well as online.
