Organic Canvas Tote

$90

This Canvas Bag is made from linen made by an 80 year old, eco oriented mill in Belarus. Linen contains natural anti-microbial fiber, which is one of the reasons why I chose to use this for this tote. This Linen has a very specific texture to it and a variety of tans/gray fibers. From the hand painted green stripes, to the hand hammered rivets, and its hand punched leather washers, you're sure to get a one of a kind tote that is designed to look more distinct with age. It measures about 16" wide, 10" tall, with a strap drop of about 9". This tote also has an almost waterproof finish given that the leather is treated with plant oil and beeswax, making it an organic product. Since this bag is made to order, please give 2-3 weeks lead time, to make your tote. I also accept international orders. Just consult me about shipping details.

I am an industrial designer with a home workshop near Philadelphia, PA. I am a mother of two little boys, and a maker of things whenever I have a free hand.

I work with natural materials to create functional and meaningful pieces that will last a lifetime or longer. I allow the natural materials to "be themselves," or I let their natural characteristics become the character of the finished piece.

My pieces are sold in local boutiques and museum shops, as well as online.
