Ash Cutting Board
This cutting board was requested by a return customer, who asked if we would make it to his specifications, which are 18"L x 14"W x 3/4"thick. It is made of a beautiful ash wood and finished by hand rubbing several coats of beeswax, paraffin and mineral oil on the surface, which is food safe. Ash has become more difficult to find so it will be based upon availability.

Denny and Claudia Debner
Debner Fine Art and Furniture
For over four decades, we have enjoyed making award winning fine art, including oil painting, custom furniture and leather work.
Claudia studied the old masters styles of drawing and painting at The Atelier in Minneapolis, MN. She paints with feeling and passion with a specialization in two particular styles of combined impressionistic and abstract oil painting as well as still life. Her style has a bit of a whimsical feeling to it and her goal is to show the joy that she feels when she sees how God has created nature that she paints.
Denny uses lumber from local suppliers and saw mills. He has chosen to fill a market niche by utilizing reclaimed or lumber from trees from his customers that they find to be sentimental or historical in their families.
He looks for opportunities to work with clients who desire a new and fresh design in their furniture and leather work. All of these areas allow for a way to fill a need that often is not available in the retail market. For example, the picture of the kitchen table made of oak and granite were not available either in size or of materials and led to the chance to develop them both for personal use as well as for availability to customers who are interested.
Leather and wood furniture are especially great projects to work on with our clientele and we look forward to each persons ideas and input as we build together.

More than that, we came to them with an idea, a few pictures, and a pile of wood and they worked with us every step of the way to turn that into a dining room table we'll have for generations - truly a one of a kind masterpiece. This was a very sentimental project for us using 150 year old beams from my family farm in NY and they treated it as if it was their own. Aug 23, 2017This was my first experience with 'Custom Made' and certainly my first with Debner. What I was looking for, I was not able to find anywhere else. I had a set of kitchen and steak knives commissioned for me, and I was looking for a custom knife block that was very rustic that would compliment the more refined look of the knives. Debner Fine Art and Furniture was excited about the project and offered lots of great ideas and suggestions. I got to review wood samples and was sent photos and status updates every step of the way. The finished product is AMAZING and is truly a work of art. I can't be happier with the entire process from start to finish. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only the final product is beautiful and up to high standards, we have made friends with these lovely people. Denny contacted numerous times to make sure that I am involved in all steps of the project, and to seek opinions where it was needed. Needless to say, we are absolutely happy with the customized cover board for our stove. His packaging skills are impeccable and hard to beat! We received our order exactly 2 weeks after the contract was initiated; Denny and Claudia worked through the holidays to have our project ready in time.
