Watch Or Jewelry Box With Leather Pouch
This walnut and ash box was ordered specifically for a client to use for seven watches. It includes a hand sewn leather pouch with a strap to close the flap, to contain one watch. The dimensions of this particular watch box are 5.5 inches high x 14 inches long x 10 inches deep. The box has a walnut and ash lid, held onto the box with two brass hinges and has four separate compartments for watches, etc. There is also a pullout drawer underneath the first level that has three compartments, one of which stores the leather pouch. There is a cove style groove under the front board of the drawer which easily allows two fingers to be used to pull out this drawer. The finish on this box is a custom made formula of beeswax, paraffin and a food safe oil. One complimentary can of this finish is provided with each customized box. Debner Fine Art and Furniture
For over four decades, we have enjoyed making award winning fine art, including oil painting, custom furniture and leather work.
Claudia studied the old masters styles of drawing and painting at The Atelier in Minneapolis, MN. She paints with feeling and passion with a specialization in two particular styles of combined impressionistic and abstract oil painting as well as still life. Her style has a bit of a whimsical feeling to it and her goal is to show the joy that she feels when she sees how God has created nature that she paints.
Denny uses lumber from local suppliers and saw mills. He has chosen to fill a market niche by utilizing reclaimed or lumber from trees from his customers that they find to be sentimental or historical in their families.
He looks for opportunities to work with clients who desire a new and fresh design in their furniture and leather work. All of these areas allow for a way to fill a need that often is not available in the retail market. For example, the picture of the kitchen table made of oak and granite were not available either in size or of materials and led to the chance to develop them both for personal use as well as for availability to customers who are interested.
Leather and wood furniture are especially great projects to work on with our clientele and we look forward to each persons ideas and input as we build together.
