Solid Walnut Stove Cover Or Modified Cutting Board
A wonderful gentlemen contacted me and asked if we could make a customized cover board that he will be using over a stove but not as a cutting board but for presentation of food plates, etc. This particular solid walnut stove cover or modified cutting board measurements are 33 inches long x 24 inches wide by 3 3/8 inches high. It is a box structure, finished with food safe beeswax, paraffin and mineral oil, just in case it would be used for food in the future. There is a beautiful burled grain in one of the boards, which is pictured on the left. It has a wonderful shimmer when the light shines on it. If you would like to order this in another dimension/size or of another wood type, we would be glad to work with you on your project. If you have quantity orders, the price will be adjusted accordingly.
The layout on this board was face grain, with edge grain boards surrounding it on all four sides.

Debner Fine Art and Furniture
For over four decades, we have enjoyed making award winning fine art, including oil painting, custom furniture and leather work.
Claudia studied the old masters styles of drawing and painting at The Atelier in Minneapolis, MN. She paints with feeling and passion with a specialization in two particular styles of combined impressionistic and abstract oil painting as well as still life. Her style has a bit of a whimsical feeling to it and her goal is to show the joy that she feels when she sees how God has created nature that she paints.
Denny uses lumber from local suppliers and saw mills. He has chosen to fill a market niche by utilizing reclaimed or lumber from trees from his customers that they find to be sentimental or historical in their families.
He looks for opportunities to work with clients who desire a new and fresh design in their furniture and leather work. All of these areas allow for a way to fill a need that often is not available in the retail market. For example, the picture of the kitchen table made of oak and granite were not available either in size or of materials and led to the chance to develop them both for personal use as well as for availability to customers who are interested.
Leather and wood furniture are especially great projects to work on with our clientele and we look forward to each persons ideas and input as we build together.

I had a set of kitchen and steak knives commissioned for me, and I was looking for a custom knife block that was very rustic that would compliment the more refined look of the knives. Debner Fine Art and Furniture was excited about the project and offered lots of great ideas and suggestions. I got to review wood samples and was sent photos and status updates every step of the way.
