Cherry And Painted Poplar Shaker Table
This is a customized cherry table top with painted poplar apron and taper legs. The table top is 55" square with a four inch wide apron and a four inch inset from the table edge. The legs are 29.25 ", tapered on two sides from 3.5" at the top down to 2" at the bottom. The legs and apron have been painted black, to contrast the cherry stained table top, which is finished with three coats of spar marine varnish for extra durability against moisture, etc. We are very open to working with you on your customized style, if you wish to contact us.

Meet the Maker
Denny and Claudia Debner
Debner Fine Art and Furniture
For over four decades, we have enjoyed making award winning fine art, including oil painting, custom furniture and leather work.
Claudia studied the old masters styles of drawing and painting at The Atelier in Minneapolis, MN. She paints with feeling and passion with a specialization in two particular styles of combined impressionistic and abstract oil painting as well as still life. Her style has a bit of a whimsical feeling to it and her goal is to show the joy that she feels when she sees how God has created nature that she paints.
Denny uses lumber from local suppliers and saw mills. He has chosen to fill a market niche by utilizing reclaimed or lumber from trees from his customers that they find to be sentimental or historical in their families.
He looks for opportunities to work with clients who desire a new and fresh design in their furniture and leather work. All of these areas allow for a way to fill a need that often is not available in the retail market. For example, the picture of the kitchen table made of oak and granite were not available either in size or of materials and led to the chance to develop them both for personal use as well as for availability to customers who are interested.
Leather and wood furniture are especially great projects to work on with our clientele and we look forward to each persons ideas and input as we build together.

Not only the final product is beautiful and up to high standards, we have made friends with these lovely people.
