Creative And Rustic Night Stand With Natural Walnut And Cherry.
This night stand was requested to one of four pieces that we are making for a customer, who asked for us to use natural wood, with knots, cracks, bark and natural beauty of the grain. We were asked to leave some of the rough sawn texture on some of the pieces. Please note the top of the night stand is made with a combination of cherry, laid in a herring bone pattern and framed with walnut for contrast. Dimensions for this piece are 28"W x 18"D x 29"H, with five inch high casters included in the height. The drawer is made with dovetail joints, for long lasting durability and glides on under mounted drawer slides. The doors and side panels of the night stand are made of selected wood that compliment the style of this project and the finish is made of beeswax, paraffin and mineral oil and is hand rubbed to create a lasting beautiful look.

For over four decades, we have enjoyed making award winning fine art, including oil painting, custom furniture and leather work.
Claudia studied the old masters styles of drawing and painting at The Atelier in Minneapolis, MN. She paints with feeling and passion with a specialization in two particular styles of combined impressionistic and abstract oil painting as well as still life. Her style has a bit of a whimsical feeling to it and her goal is to show the joy that she feels when she sees how God has created nature that she paints.
Denny uses lumber from local suppliers and saw mills. He has chosen to fill a market niche by utilizing reclaimed or lumber from trees from his customers that they find to be sentimental or historical in their families.
He looks for opportunities to work with clients who desire a new and fresh design in their furniture and leather work. All of these areas allow for a way to fill a need that often is not available in the retail market. For example, the picture of the kitchen table made of oak and granite were not available either in size or of materials and led to the chance to develop them both for personal use as well as for availability to customers who are interested.
Leather and wood furniture are especially great projects to work on with our clientele and we look forward to each persons ideas and input as we build together.
