Family Chessboard
This chessboard was designed by my grandson. The squares measure 2.25 inches. He requested the top to be hinged so that there is a storage area inside to place both the light and dark colored chess pieces. I finished the chessboard with several coats of a very durable varnish, sealing the natural coloration of the mahogany and sycamore wood. Drawers can also be an option for storage, eliminating the need to hinge the top and bottom of the chessboard. I am open to your suggestions of design and wood type. Please allow a minimum of eight weeks for me to custom build it for you. Thank you.

For over four decades, we have enjoyed making award winning fine art, including oil painting, custom furniture and leather work.
Claudia studied the old masters styles of drawing and painting at The Atelier in Minneapolis, MN. She paints with feeling and passion with a specialization in two particular styles of combined impressionistic and abstract oil painting as well as still life. Her style has a bit of a whimsical feeling to it and her goal is to show the joy that she feels when she sees how God has created nature that she paints.
Denny uses lumber from local suppliers and saw mills. He has chosen to fill a market niche by utilizing reclaimed or lumber from trees from his customers that they find to be sentimental or historical in their families.
He looks for opportunities to work with clients who desire a new and fresh design in their furniture and leather work. All of these areas allow for a way to fill a need that often is not available in the retail market. For example, the picture of the kitchen table made of oak and granite were not available either in size or of materials and led to the chance to develop them both for personal use as well as for availability to customers who are interested.
Leather and wood furniture are especially great projects to work on with our clientele and we look forward to each persons ideas and input as we build together.

For Custom Dining Table5.0Denny & Claudia are an incredible team! They delivered our dining table on time and within budget. More than that, we came to them with an idea, a few pictures, and a pile of wood and they worked with us every step of the way to turn that into a dining room table we'll have for generations - truly a one of a kind masterpiece. This was a very sentimental project for us using 150 year old beams from my family farm in NY and they treated it as if it was their own. We can't thank them enough for the work they did but it's really the passion they put in to our table we're most thankful for. We give them the strongest recommendation possible!

Venturing on the path to find THE dinning table that will be part of all of my family's future memories I turned to Mr. Debner for his expertise and I am so glad I did. The whole experience was extremely personal. Denny is the only person I would trust with any future projects. Having constant communication with Denny, constant updates with pictures included, from the tiniest detail of obtaining the exact staining color we wanted sending multiple samples with different coats and awaiting our feedback, to the design of the pedestals, picking the wood, exact measurements, etc… everything has been so easy thanks to Denny and his wife Claudia's talents. But mostly, thanks to them being such wonderful people, going out of their way to put themselves in their customers shoes and approaching the project trying to make the best table they could. The table is even more beautiful than what we had anticipated. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to work with this wonderful person in their next project as you will definitely be glad you did.
