This maple kitchen was designed especially for this house. Notice the wall cabinets have a unique "display space" under the doors to accomodate larger pieces. The island is of quartersawn White Oak with an attached maple counter shaped like a slice of bread. It was designed in a kind of Shaker style, with simple forms and minimal embellishment.
