LOOSELY ASSOCIATED with Gustav Stickley's Craftsnan workshops which designed and built a great many variations, the Arts & Crafts Spindle Bed is a true craftsman era icon. • Our spindle bed follows no specific design. We have borrowed an idea here and a feature there to create our own design that faithfully follows Arts & Crafts principals without being an exact replica of any particular design from the period. • Our custom design reflects a reverence for the fine wood and and careful craftsmanship of the Arts & Crafts period. Our seventeen-step hand finishing process results in a silky smooth, durable, long lasting finish that can takes years of use without showing signs of wear. This is an heirloom piece intended to last for many lifetimes. • This is he the bed to perfectly complement any Arts & Crafts bedroom, and for a reasonable price. Our hand-made, custom bed costs no more than good quality factory-made furniture. • HERITAGE PERIOD: Arts & Crafts, 1900-1941. • SIZES: Available in queen (shown), twin, double and king, the bed is designed for a modern box spring and mattress set and can even be specially configured for the new extra thick, cushion-top, mattresses. • Standard sizes: Twin: 30"x76", Double: 54"x 76", Queen: 60" x 80", King: 76" x 80". Custom sizes available.
