54 1/2"H x 38"W x 19 1/8"D H 74" (with mirror) This dresser was inspired by the work of Charles and Henry Greene. The Greenes were famous architects form the early 1900s. Their story is fascinating, it's worth looking into. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greene_and_Greene This dresser is constructed of: Sapele, Ebony, Yellow Pine (back) and Birch Plywood (drawer bottoms). All of the sapele on the exterior of this dresser comes from near consecutive boards of the same flitch with the exception of the drawer rails (boards between the drawers) and some of the drawer sides and backs. That accounts for the uniform grain in this dresser. The boards ranged in width from 17" to 22". All drawer fronts are finger jointed to the drawer sides. The drawer rails are double mortised and tenoned to the legs. I borrowed the Greene's "waterfall" legs from the Gamble house bedroom furniture for the bottom of the legs of this dresser. I carried that theme up to the mirror supports as well. The mirror features the same cloud lift motif as is on the bottom front drawer rail support and top and bottom side rails. The mirror is removable and there are no mounting holes on the top of the dresser. The mirror secures only to the back of the dresser and it is very rigid. The top of the dresser features a beautiful one piece slab of sapele that is splined to the bread board ends. The back features two removable panels that are constructed in the frame and panel style. The drawer runners and guides are made out of oak. They are mortised and tenoned to the front and back drawer rails but not glued, to facilitate future adjustment as the drawers wear. This dresser is ready made!

For Dressing TableI was very happy to find Mark and my custom vanity on CustomMade.com! Mark was great to work with and the vanity is exactly what I needed. I use it everyday. Mark and I worked together to match pulls that were on other pieces of furniture in the room as well as the finish on the new vanity. I love my vanity and would definitely look to Mark in the future if I needed to have something else made. It was a great experience.
