Your morning coffee, evening tea or beer or any beverage you drink is certain to taste better in these handmade coffee mugs. This listing is for FOUR ceramic coffee cups in any colors you like -- I make them with interiors in yellow, red, olive green, yellow-green, periwinkle purple, robin's egg blue and peach. Let me know the colors you'd like in your notes to seller or I'll choose a colorful set of four mugs for you. If I have them in stock, they'll go out right away. If I don't have the colors you want in stock, I'll make them for you and it will take around 4-6 weeks to complete the order. Either way, I'll be in touch with the shipping schedule shortly after you place your order. I make these cups on my pottery wheel out of porcelain clay, adding a decorative design that features wildflowers and various woodland creatures. Because they are made by hand one at a time, each one is a little different in size and shape from the others but they complement each other beautifully. They are fired in my electric kiln to around 2100 degrees F and are sturdy enough to use in the microwave and dishwasher. They hold 16 - 20 ounces of your favorite beverage and are around 4.5 to 5" high x 3.5" across. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

I am a studio potter who works in porcelain and stoneware creating one of a kind, functional pottery including whimsical teapots and tea cups, bowls, casseroles, plates, tumblers, platters, vases and tiles.
I have studied under such renowned potters as Clary Illian, Lorna Meaden, Chris Gustin, Steven Hill, Diana Fayt, Meira Mathison, Sylvie Granitelli, Julia Galloway, Bonnie Seeman, Sarah Jaeger, and Sandi Pierantozzi. From each of these wonderful artists, I usually take away a new technique or way of creating that I then incorporate into my own pottery voice.
I am a founding member of the Steamboat Clay Artisans and work with this group on an annual Soup Bowl Supper fundraiser, a holiday sale, summer farmer's market, and educational programs.
In March 2013, my work was featured in the e-commerce publication of Better Homes and Gardens.
My work isalso featured in Best Of America Pottery and Woodworking Artists & Artisans Vol.1 by Kennedy Publishing. And it is featured in the November 2010 issue of AARP magazine.
In April 2009 I was one of the speakers at the national clay conference (NCECA) in Phoenix talking about online selling.

For Handmade Ceramic Tea MugThis project was a personalized coffee mug for my wife, I got to pick her colors and had input on the artwork. The quality of work was excellent and to my specifactions. It had to hold 20 oz., have a thin rim, and not be too heavy (my wife's a little particular)! All specifications were met to a T.
My wife LOVES IT. One of the best and most unique gifts I've ever given her.
