Set Of Four: Handmade Ceramic Soup Bowl For Salad, Cereal Or Ice Cream
This pretty Soup bowl is large enough to hold at least 24 ounces of your favorite soup or ice cream - maybe more and is both a work of art and functional piece of pottery. This listing is for a set of four. I made it on my pottery wheel out of white stoneware clay, added the colorful design featuring woodland creatures such as owls, bears, horses, fox, crows and more among colorful wildflowers and then used pottery stains and glazes for the color. If you have a preference for design and color, please leave me a message. Otherwise, I will choose the four prettiest ones in stock and ship them off to you right away. It is 3" high x 6" across. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

I am a studio potter who works in porcelain and stoneware creating one of a kind, functional pottery including whimsical teapots and tea cups, bowls, casseroles, plates, tumblers, platters, vases and tiles.
I have studied under such renowned potters as Clary Illian, Lorna Meaden, Chris Gustin, Steven Hill, Diana Fayt, Meira Mathison, Sylvie Granitelli, Julia Galloway, Bonnie Seeman, Sarah Jaeger, and Sandi Pierantozzi. From each of these wonderful artists, I usually take away a new technique or way of creating that I then incorporate into my own pottery voice.
I am a founding member of the Steamboat Clay Artisans and work with this group on an annual Soup Bowl Supper fundraiser, a holiday sale, summer farmer's market, and educational programs.
In March 2013, my work was featured in the e-commerce publication of Better Homes and Gardens.
My work isalso featured in Best Of America Pottery and Woodworking Artists & Artisans Vol.1 by Kennedy Publishing. And it is featured in the November 2010 issue of AARP magazine.
In April 2009 I was one of the speakers at the national clay conference (NCECA) in Phoenix talking about online selling.
