Set Of Four: Ceramic Square Serving Tray - Appetizer Or Bread Plate

$140

These small handmade dishes are a perfect size for serving small appetizers like little cream puffs, olives, egg rolls, pot stickers or even a side dish like asparagus, bread sticks, etc. It's also just the perfect size for an ear of corn on the cob! Put your butter in the tray and roll the ear around the tray -- it won't get away from you! I created these 1" high x 2" wide x 8" long tray out of white stoneware clay and then added a colorful design for the interior. It features colorful flowers and often a creature such as an owl, fox, wolf, bird, etc. I used pottery stains and glazes for the color and sealed it all in with a translucent glaze. I make these trays in many colors: greens, blues, purples, peach, yellow or am happy to create one for you in the color of your choice. Just let me know the colors you'd like, and I'll let you know if I have something to ship immediately or will need to make one for you. It will take a few weeks to complete a custom order. It's very durable and may be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. ¤´¨) ¸.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨) (¸.•´ (¸.•`¤~♥ To see more asparagus trays and other pieces of my handmade pottery, check out my other listings.

I am a studio potter who works in porcelain and stoneware creating one of a kind, functional pottery including whimsical teapots and tea cups, bowls, casseroles, plates, tumblers, platters, vases and tiles.

I have studied under such renowned potters as Clary Illian, Lorna Meaden, Chris Gustin, Steven Hill, Diana Fayt, Meira Mathison, Sylvie Granitelli, Julia Galloway, Bonnie Seeman, Sarah Jaeger, and Sandi Pierantozzi. From each of these wonderful artists, I usually take away a new technique or way of creating that I then incorporate into my own pottery voice.

I am a founding member of the Steamboat Clay Artisans and work with this group on an annual Soup Bowl Supper fundraiser, a holiday sale, summer farmer's market, and educational programs.

In March 2013, my work was featured in the e-commerce publication of Better Homes and Gardens.

My work isalso featured in Best Of America Pottery and Woodworking Artists & Artisans Vol.1 by Kennedy Publishing. And it is featured in the November 2010 issue of AARP magazine.

In April 2009 I was one of the speakers at the national clay conference (NCECA) in Phoenix talking about online selling.
