Set Of Two: Large Ceramic Handmade Mugs

These large handmade mugs hold 18 - 20 ounces and were made on my pottery wheel out of stoneware clay. They measure around 5" high x 3.5" wide and are microwave and dishwasher safe. I create a design on the exterior that complements the rim and interior glazes. It features colorful wildflowers and often various woodland creatures: ravens, rabbits, owl, moose, fox, wolf, deer, sometimes a cat or a dog or horse. If you have a preference for design and color, please let me know; otherwise, I'll choose two mugs for you that look great together.

I am a studio potter who works in porcelain and stoneware creating one of a kind, functional pottery including whimsical teapots and tea cups, bowls, casseroles, plates, tumblers, platters, vases and tiles.

I have studied under such renowned potters as Clary Illian, Lorna Meaden, Chris Gustin, Steven Hill, Diana Fayt, Meira Mathison, Sylvie Granitelli, Julia Galloway, Bonnie Seeman, Sarah Jaeger, and Sandi Pierantozzi. From each of these wonderful artists, I usually take away a new technique or way of creating that I then incorporate into my own pottery voice.

I am a founding member of the Steamboat Clay Artisans and work with this group on an annual Soup Bowl Supper fundraiser, a holiday sale, summer farmer's market, and educational programs.

In March 2013, my work was featured in the e-commerce publication of Better Homes and Gardens.

My work isalso featured in Best Of America Pottery and Woodworking Artists & Artisans Vol.1 by Kennedy Publishing. And it is featured in the November 2010 issue of AARP magazine.

In April 2009 I was one of the speakers at the national clay conference (NCECA) in Phoenix talking about online selling.

I can't say enough nice things about this company and the owner Deb Babcock.

She worked with me during the process, kept me informed of the progress of my order and even contacted me before it arrived. Then asked for confirming and if I had any concerns. I look forward to working with this company again and highly recommend them

    Thank you
