Custom portrait of your favorite memory, landscape, pet, person or favorite critter painted in acrylic on a gorgeous kiln dried, 1 5/8" inch thick round slice of basswood. Beautiful bark around the edges with lovely lichen and bits of moss detail. I'll create the artwork from your photos (photos don't have to be perfect!) Sealed with UV protective matte clear acrylic varnish. Hardware for hanging included. These thick basswood rounds are handcrafted from the finest quality Northern Michigan basswood trees. Rectangular planks and extra thick rounds and ovals are also available. I've had over thirty-five years experience in creating custom artwork and design. I create artwork using a wide range of media: traditional watercolor, acrylic, oils, and pen and ink as well as modern hand-painted digital paintings on canvas and archival paper.
