Depression Glass Petal Pattern, Stained Glass Plate Panel, Stained Glass Transom Window

$150

This stained glass panel features the graceful flower of the Petal pattern of depression glass. The heavy cut glass texture of the plates shimmers in the light and pairs well with the gently textured glass; fabulous in a window or instant color as a suncatcher or glass yard art. These depression glass plates can now be showcased in the light where their stunning beauty can be enjoyed by new generations. This handmade stained glass transom features the beautiful Petal pattern made by the Federal Glass Company between 1930 - 1970. The centerpiece plates are complimented by the coordinating framing glass adding interesting texture patterns. Each of the plates have a pleated ruffle edge, a delightful suncatcher in any window! Approximately 24 x 9 inches, this panel may be hung horizontally as a transom or vertically as a sidelight -- and is a real eye-catcher. Everybody loves stained glass -- what a unique way to say "Welcome to the family" or "I'm glad we're friends." Better yet, treat yourself!

I create stained glass Heritage panels, complimenting wind chimes, and traditional stained glass window panels.

While hot and warm styles have virtually taken over as home decor, I still craft cold glass in the Tiffany method. Each piece of glass is selected, carefully cut, fit, foiled, and soldered by hand before polishing for display.

My focus is the preservation of our family heirlooms by introducing a unique presentation with the incorporation of depression glassware and vintage dishes. Each piece brings back memories of grandma, makes us once again appreciate the things once treasured, and displays them in a new light.

Selected by Anchor Hocking as a Style and Trendsetter in 2010, featured by Glass Masters Quarterly fall 2012, as well as an award winner at several festivals in Florida, I look forward to working with individual clients for custom pieces.
