These absolutely fantastic hand-carved and hand-painted hollow chicken eggs are not jewelry pieces but are still considered sculptural art ornaments that are custom-made at my shop. The eggs are carved in your choice of words or images. It is the perfect gift for Easter or Christmas. Made from real chicken eggs, these ornaments are very fragile, which adds to both their value and charm. Everything I sell is authentically handcrafted using simple tools and imagination. Everything I can make myself I do. I never purchase mass produced findings and components. It is very important to me that my work be as much a product of my own hands as possible. I really do want to eventually know how to do everything. I strive on a daily basis to continue to learn new techniques and refine my craft. Custom work is a wonderful way to stretch the limits of my imagination and push me toward greater knowledge and skill.
My favorite thing about creating custom work is the opportunity it gives every individual a chance to use their creativity and help to bring to the world something truly unique. I believe we all have the spark of creation in us. It's a wonderful thing to find a way to bring those ideas to life.
