"Serendipity" Copper Hair Fork
I call this copper hair fork "Serendipity" because I had the pleasure of discovering the beauty and functionality of this hair accessory. They look so dainty but they hold hair really well; I use 99% pure copper wire to fashion this elaborate design. The metalwork of the entire piece is done by hand and I also select the beads and embellishments personally. The piece that you see in the photo measures about 5 inches in length, but I can adjust it if you want a difference size. Like my other hair ornaments, I can use brass, nickel silver, or antiqued copper to make a one-of-a-kind hair fork just for you.

Everything I sell is authentically handcrafted using simple tools and imagination. Everything I can make myself I do. I never purchase mass produced findings and components. It is very important to me that my work be as much a product of my own hands as possible. I really do want to eventually know how to do everything. I strive on a daily basis to continue to learn new techniques and refine my craft. Custom work is a wonderful way to stretch the limits of my imagination and push me toward greater knowledge and skill.
My favorite thing about creating custom work is the opportunity it gives every individual a chance to use their creativity and help to bring to the world something truly unique. I believe we all have the spark of creation in us. It's a wonderful thing to find a way to bring those ideas to life.
