Sculptural Brass Hair Clip
I love this big, ornate hair clip because it looks so gorgeous and holds my thick hair really well. For this piece, I used brass and adorned it with dark glass beads. This is a sculptural piece which I designed as I was making it. I thoroughly enjoy working on sculptural pieces especially when it turns out looking as lovely as this hair clip. I molded and forged all of the metalwork myself and I could use other metals to make a similar design upon request.

Everything I sell is authentically handcrafted using simple tools and imagination. Everything I can make myself I do. I never purchase mass produced findings and components. It is very important to me that my work be as much a product of my own hands as possible. I really do want to eventually know how to do everything. I strive on a daily basis to continue to learn new techniques and refine my craft. Custom work is a wonderful way to stretch the limits of my imagination and push me toward greater knowledge and skill.
My favorite thing about creating custom work is the opportunity it gives every individual a chance to use their creativity and help to bring to the world something truly unique. I believe we all have the spark of creation in us. It's a wonderful thing to find a way to bring those ideas to life.

She let me know in advance when she could get to our project and completed it when she said it would be done. Her pricing was beyond fair. For all the work she did I would say a bargain because she is that good. I will be ordering more items from her because she is a talented artist, is honest, fair, and a pleasure to work with. I feel so lucky to have found her through this site I had never even heard of before. Our Robot I.D. bracelet is beautiful. My 2-year-old is very proud of it and wears it at all times. It is superbly made. I would love to stay in touch with her for future projects. She does amazing work!
