Cobalt Blue Glass Accented Brass Hairpin
I always enjoy making these elaborate brass hairpins because they hold my thick hair really well and look great, too. My hair is a little wavy so this hairpin stays in place, but I was not so sure that it would do the same to my daughter's lovely straight tresses. But it did! For this piece, I used solid brass wire, but I can also substitute it with copper if that's what you prefer. The cobalt blue glass beads I used on this hairpin looked fabulous with the golden color of the brass. You can be sure that your very own brass hairpin will be different from anything else I make. I always stamp my pieces with my maker's mark and ship it with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

It is very important to me that my work be as much a product of my own hands as possible. I really do want to eventually know how to do everything. I strive on a daily basis to continue to learn new techniques and refine my craft. Custom work is a wonderful way to stretch the limits of my imagination and push me toward greater knowledge and skill.
My favorite thing about creating custom work is the opportunity it gives every individual a chance to use their creativity and help to bring to the world something truly unique. I believe we all have the spark of creation in us. It's a wonderful thing to find a way to bring those ideas to life.

I feel so lucky to have found her through this site I had never even heard of before. Our Robot I.D. bracelet is beautiful. My 2-year-old is very proud of it and wears it at all times.
