Fusing glass happens in a kiln at over 1300 degrees. Fused glass can be simple or complicated, fully melted together or have the glass pieces "tacked" on top of each other. Smaller suncatchers can be made very affordable.

I love to make custom one-off stained glass pieces. Even if I try and make the same thing twice they are never truly the same.

Since as long as I can remember, I've always liked building and creating things. I've never been able to consider myself an artist until I started working with stained glass. I could never draw anything other than straight lines with the help of a ruler, painting only if I copied it from something else. But mechanical things always came easy to me. Taking a piece of raw steel, some wire, glass, rubber and plastic and making something with a purpose, taking individual pieces that meant nothing by themselves and creating something that did something other than just look pretty on the wall, something that moved, something that transformed energy into something else. I found that working with glass does this to me.

    Vince did an incredible job! His stained glass masterpiece was a gift for a friend. She went to a small college and Vince was able to make an artistic version of the logo so that she can proudly show off her alma mater in her home and joyfully watch the sun shine through it. If you have an idea in mind, Vince can bring it to life.

    I would recommend Vince for ANY project, small or large! He was able to take a picture which had great significance and duplicate it into a splendid suncatcher! I also had the choice of a more costly version which had much more detail, or a less costly version with less detail. He was SO PATIENT as I made my decision, and went out of his way to ensure he created exactly what my family & I wanted. He was so reliable with feedback, and responded swiftly, answering all of my questions with humor, approachability and pure knowledge!! He took many pictures of the finished products, from all angles and in many settings, ensuring we were happy with the finished product. He even allowed me to share personal information about the person it was being created for so that he could put his positive energy & intentions into the product. This was so comforting, as the suncatcher was for the loss of a sister, and the photo was of her last trip with her husband, so the gift was able to relay such personal meaning. I was even able to include a personal note to be sent with the finished product. I will DEFINITELY use Vince Rinner to help create personal gifts in the future :))
