This is a custom clock commissioned by a customer who really like the band Rush. They wanted some sort of clock that represented the Time Machine tour. I took the basic idea and then used Neil Peart's drum riser as inspiration to make a steampunk clock. This is a working clock made with a traditional stained glass painting technique with LED lighting that can change colors. Lots of brass and copper details with a metal gear for a realistic effect. If you want a one of a kind clock our imagination can help you get there.

I love to make custom one-off stained glass pieces. Even if I try and make the same thing twice they are never truly the same.
Since as long as I can remember, I've always liked building and creating things. I've never been able to consider myself an artist until I started working with stained glass. I could never draw anything other than straight lines with the help of a ruler, painting only if I copied it from something else. But mechanical things always came easy to me. Taking a piece of raw steel, some wire, glass, rubber and plastic and making something with a purpose, taking individual pieces that meant nothing by themselves and creating something that did something other than just look pretty on the wall, something that moved, something that transformed energy into something else. I found that working with glass does this to me.
Tell me your story, tell me why you want your art piece made, give me inspiration to make something that will continue your story for all those that see our work.

For Steve's Art & MusicIf you are looking for a one of a kind, extremely cool piece of art Vince at Glass Art for the World may be exactly what you are looking for. Through custommade.com I was able to pitch an idea of a Rush Time Machine Tour clock.
Vince took my ideas and added several of his own and produced something really special. I was really happy with the finished product and the whole process. Obviously highly recommended!

For Semi-Colon heart to hang as a symbol (crest) of my familyHello! We just got our stained glass heart today and it is absolutely amazing! My wife loves it and that is the most important thing to me. The design is perfect, the communication between us was very smooth, and delivery was literally right on time. Two minutes before she came home from work, I was saying “have a safe drive” to the FedEx deliveryman. We are enjoying it as we speak and as we eat lol. Thank you Vince, you were very professional and I look forward to working with you again in the future.
