The glass teardrop pendant is made by kiln casting layers of glass in a mold. With black as the base color, the silver metal dichroic pops off of the dark opaque. Layers of clear give it a glossy finish and a nice thickness to the pendant. The pendant is finished with a simple drilled hole with a handmade wire wrapped sterling silver jump ring to slide onto a black satin cord. This pendant could be customized in many different colors and design accents.

Holly Wolf-Mattick makes handmade glass pieces using a variety of glass working processes, including glass blowing, casting, fusing, and cold working. All of the glass work is created as one of a kind pieces and includes sculptural works and decorative objects. Items include vases, paperweights, ornaments, jewelry, coasters, and interior design items such as handmade tile, cabinet inserts, light fixtures, and wall panels. Holly has a good deal of experience creating custom glass pieces for clients and enjoys making work that is specific to a client's space and ideas.
