This colorful glass paperweight was custom ordered and handmade for a holiday gift. The paperweight was hot sculpted with colorful glass floral shapes and bubble patterns suspended as the inside design. The outer layer of the paperweight has a smooth, clear glass finish.

Holly Wolf-Mattick makes handmade glass pieces using a variety of glass working processes, including glass blowing, casting, fusing, and cold working. All of the glass work is created as one of a kind pieces and includes sculptural works and decorative objects. Items include vases, paperweights, ornaments, jewelry, coasters, and interior design items such as handmade tile, cabinet inserts, light fixtures, and wall panels. Holly has a good deal of experience creating custom glass pieces for clients and enjoys making work that is specific to a client's space and ideas.

    It was such a pleasure to work with Holly. She listened to all my thoughts and ideas. And when needed her advice and expertise was excellent.im very happy with the finished vase. And since giving it to my girlfriend she absolutely adores it.

    I can highly recommend Holly's work if you are looking for any glass work that needs doing. If in the future I need anything else done. Holly will be my first port of call.

    I broke my wife's favorite vase, and Holly was able, on the basis of a few scraps of information, to make a replacement that catches the spirit of the original without being a knock-off. It's actually more solid than the original, and better suited to its purpose. I'm very happy with it.

    The only reason I took a star off on timeliness was because Holly was in the process of moving her studio at the time that I first created the project and couldn't address the project immediately. But once the proposal was made, everything happened very quickly. And in the end it worked out for the best, since I'll now be able to give the vase to my wife on her birthday in two days.

    So feel free to ignore that missing star.

    It was really great working with Wolf-Mattick Glass Studio. She was great and patient despite me being sort of picky and a pain. I only commissioned a small order, but she still went through the time and effort to make a bunch of different options that I could choose from.
