This piece was originally created as a maquette for a commissioned public art project and is an example of my signature glass work. Each glass panel measures approximately 5" x 5" x 0.5". Textural glass panels form a beautiful and unique grid to display on a wall or suspended in front of a window. Eight glass panels are composed of handmade glass tubing in a variety of green and blue hues. Four panels are fused glass with surface impressions that capture light. The metal framework adds a rigid geometry to the organic nature of the glass pieces. The glass panel series can be customized with choice of color, size, shape, and number of panels. The panels can be housed in the metal framework or be displayed without a frame to feature the more organic edges of the panels. Pricing varies with each custom order based on size, amount of panels, color shape, and display choices.
