3 D Nyc Skyline Artwork
Before I started with the jewelry business, all I did was paint, draw and sketch. Today my artwork has taken a new meaning thanks to the influence of my jewelry designing. You can say this piece is a direct result of that! Thin slats of wood are cut, painted using enamel paint, and Swarovski Crystals are glued on to represent the hundreds of windows one can view from a distant skyscraper. The pieces are layered on top of each other to create a 3 D effect. Tiny little trees are inserted which I make and glue to the piece. This piece has a full moon which hides behind the WTC and the buildings antenna is a sterling silver 24g wire. Let me know which city skyline I can do for you. All handmade, handcrafted fashion jewelry. I specialize in semi-precious stones and Swarvoski Crystals. I use 14k goldfilled wire and chains, sterling silver, vermeil, and solid gold by request. Creating has been my entire life. I started out as a fine arts painter and needed a break from the oils and solvents. I bought a few beads, some wire and started playing with it, and I was hooked! Jewelry designing and making is my art. I also create collages that have a glitzy jewelry appeal to them. I love my job!
