The construction is of black iron pipe, which is mid-to-dark silver-grey with a subtle warm tint and extremely solid. It is operated via a nickel plated toggle integrated into the body of the lamp. The 8' Rayon wrapped antique style cord gives it a feeling of days gone by. The felt feet keep the surface scratch-free. Use it with the shade to direct the light only on the workspace or remove it (and use an antique Marconi bulb) for a unique, steampunk look.
