Custom made headboards and headboard/footboard combos hand carved by Jeremy & Scott, Lazy River Studio. One of a kind, handmade wooden carved beds. The bed seen in the photos is a massive king size bed made from knotty pine. It was made for a newly wed couple to commemorate their wedding and honeymoon. The nature scene carved in the headboard represents the waterfalls and massive pine trees of Yosemite National Park, the client's honeymoon site. A custom cut piece of tempered glass covers and protects the carving. Massive posts hold the headboard and footboard via mortice and tennon joinery. A custom made, hand carved sign is added to the footboard… from the song "Longing To Belong To You". King size bed pictured here at 3" thickness
