Curio Cabinet
This project is a curio cabinet made with knotty alder. Here the customer requested a horizontal cabinet versus the typical vertical style curio cabinet. The customer gave all of the specifics that they wanted and were very detailed making the project go very smoothly. This cabinet is for a collection of porcelain dolls so they are all glass doors and we were able to get another piece of glass between the two separate cabinets for extra viewing into and through the cabinet. This is a stand alone single piece that was personally delivered. It is made with a custom stain and glaze. Then finished with a durable conversion varnish. I really enjoyed making this piece because of how unique it is and how easy the customer was to work with.
