Precious Poochie, Designer Duds For Discerning Dogs is a line of custom made uniquely designed leather and suede dog clothes. Many are theme based such as the Wild West and Biker Buddy coats. Some are retro homage such as the tribute to mod designer Paco Rabanne or the hippie Flower Power dog clothes. Some use vintage materials and are therefore one of a kind or very limited editions.
New for summer, Marsha is combining 80's heavily sequined and beaded vintage fabric with satin to make some very bling bling and over the top party dresses.
The inspiration for this company is a very long, low and lean black and tan mini dachshund named Precious who couldn't fit standard pet sized coats. Marsha put herself through a Canadian Fine Arts college in the 70's by making people leather clothes. Transplanted to Texas for the last 25 years she has returned to her leather making roots to design a line of custom dog or pet clothes. She draws on a lifetime of of fine arts and design: graphic design, advertising design, custom rosary making and statement jewelry to make unique pet apparel: dog coats and dog collars.
Every piece you commission will be custom made to fit your pet. She can incorporate something personal of yours - a favorite belt, piece of jewelry etc. into a one-of-a-kind garment.
Because of the long lasting nature of leather and suede, each leather piece is made to last a lifetiime in dog years.

Marsha also makes elaborate statement necklace and earring sets for women made with semi precious stones. The style is influenced by Egyptian jewelry of antiquity but adds motion for more visual interest and flair. She is currently experimenting with adapting her jewelry making techniques too even higher high-end dog coats using semi precious stones for embellishment.

Since 1995 She has been making one of a kind and very limited edition, high end rosaries and chaplets that are made with the traditional rosary technique of linked beads but many are very non traditional in appearance. Even though their design may appear to be non traditional Marsha is very sincere about their purpose and prays every bead as it is made it into a rosary. They use every type of bead imaginable.
