Presider's Chair, Celebrant's Chair, Liturgical Furniture, Church Furniture
This is a chair and table set I designed and made for St. Catherine of Siena Parish in West Simsbury CT. It's made of solid cherry, the 7 sacraments are inlayed walnut. The church is very contemporary and already had several pieces of cherry furniture in the sanctuary so my pieces had to fit in visually without being matchy-matchy. There are also symbolic carvings including wheat, fish and the holy spirit and of course the lilies carved into the table in honor of St. Catherine. I will meet with you and design furniture especially for your church, based on features, needs and aesthetic. I also build Baptism fonts, gift tables, alters etc.
