Stained glass panel and sun catchers made for the customer's teachers after a concert titled "Stained Glass". The patterns were drawn up based on the insignia from the band's shirts. The glass shapes were then traced on the sheets of glass and cut out. The edges were ground smooth and a copper foil was added before soldering the sections together. The 3 smaller pieces had hooks and ribbon added to the top for display. A wooden stand was hand-crafted (from teak for weight) then sanded and painted. The plaque was then added to the front of the stand. All pieces were cleaned and a black patina was applied to the seams before polishing.

I have always worked with oil paints and various crafts but once I took a course in the art of making stained glass I was hooked. Each new project that I start is still exciting to me. Being able to draw a new pattern and then create the piece in glass is very rewarding. I work in the Tiffany style of glass crafting - cutting out each individual piece of a design then grinding, foiling and soldering. (Imagine making a large glass puzzle). I work closely with my customers to insure they are pleased with the design colors and framing .
Each stained glass item will be made to order. Pricing will calculated by size , detail and framing requested. Shipping will be calculated based on zip code and the size of the finished product.
I was very happy with the piece that Liz made for me. She took the time to listen to my inputs and translate these into a beautiful pieces. Liz was clear on timeline and process through the entire engagement. She provided project updates on the work in progress.
Love my dragonfly🥰. It was so well wrapped for shipping and came perfect. Thank you 😊 for my new collection piece.
I am very happy with the ease of communication between Liz and myself. The final stained glass piece looks great and was finished and shipped very quickly. I also received photos while the work was in progress from Liz which I appreciated. The cost of the stained glass piece was very reasonable. Also, the lengths Liz put into packing and shipping the stained glass piece were very professional. Very satisfied!!
Great work with fine detai!
I can’t believe how perfectly Liz captured my idea for a small stained glass piece. She was so easy to work with, and the entire process only took a couple of weeks. I couldn’t be happier with this entire experience.
