The heel of the shoe is about 1.5" and is a block style heel and has a white Victorian boot underneath (not historically accurate as it has a side zipper). Boot laces with white laces on the front (hidden by the spat). The shoe itself is made of vinyl but comfortable to wear. If you are doing the nanny style of Mary Poppins, we can do these in black and without the spat. This pair of shoes is intended as a costume piece, but is fun for any occasion.
