Aspen Breeze Wind Chime

A gentle breeze will awaken this beautiful wind chime with the delicate clamor of copper pipes. Each fused glass art piece is handcrafted using a combination of glass, stamped copper sheet and embossed copper inclusions. Since moving to Colorado, aspens have captured my heart. The seasonal color is so captivating, unique and unforgettable, I have attempted to capture it in glass. Each chime has five polished copper chimes with a fused glass clapper displaying a wonderful melody. The roundel is a slice of Colorado. Taken from the burned acreage of the Hayman fire in 2002, this aspen wood reflects the distress of the fire, but has been repurposed into a beautiful display of beauty and "lives again" in the great outdoors. This beautiful wind chime measures about 40 inches long from the top of the handcrafted copper hanger to the bottom of the hammered copper windsail. This wind chime can be place out in your garden, patio or used indoors. To extend the life of your chime: • Hang your chimes in an area protected from direct sunlight or heavy winds. Excellent locations include under a porch overhang or in a shady tree. Bring your chimes in during extreme weather or windstorms.
