My goal is to create beautiful, functional pieces of furniture and home goods. I build a lot of dining tables because of the family it brings together, the stories and food that are shared around them. My background is in biology, so my attention to detail is the trait I most rely on when building pieces meant for someones home. I aim to build heirlooms, not just something that can be picked up from a big box store.
The materials i am well versed in include wood, steel, stone, textiles and fiberglass. I also have experience in concrete and leather. The majority of the wood I use is sourced sustainably, including hardwoods, not just reclaimed old growth. Any other materials I use are sourced locally to cut down on my carbon footprint.
