This chain features a Half-Persian 4in1 chainmaille weave using 14 standard wire gauge hypo-allergenic black steel or silver-tone steel rings. The rings used are machine-cut black stainless steel or sawcut silver tone steel. Silver steel rings are tumbled with a chemical that turns the surface layer of the steel into magnetite - which gives it the striking black color. The black does not rub off, but WILL get a beautiful subtle glow the more it is worn - like hematite. There is a standard-sized stainless steel split key ring at one side (to attach to your wallet) and a large stainless trigger snap for ease of attaching and detaching from your belt loops. WHAT?
