I am a painter from the Washington DC area. I enjoy hiking, birdwatching, and exploring coasts and woodlands. Much of my artwork is inspired by my love of the outdoors. I primarily paint in watercolor.
I offer custom watercolor paintings and illustrations, painted in a detailed and realistic style, yet unique and full of personality.
Subjects I often paint include dogs, cats, pets and animals, landscapes, birds, shells, botanicals, and still lifes.

Dec 11, 2016This is my second time working with David and I was even more impressed with his work this time and I wouldn't have thought that would be possible. The first time he did a portrait of our yellow lab standing along the edge of the lake and it was perfect. But this time he did an incredible portrait of my daughter's 15 year old black cat, which she loves dearly. It is absolutely superb! He is also a pleasure to work with in every way. In fact, it came out better than I was expecting. And, he was a pleasure to work with. Can't say there is any way this project could have come out better.
