Animal Collages

These animal portraits are lighthearted because they are in vibrant colors, not necessarily true to the source, have animated expressions, and are enhanced by collage elements of colorful patterned papers. I start with an acrylic painting, add paper, and then finish with more paint. Each portrait is completed on canvas with gallery wrapped sides that are painted, so no frame is necessary.
