Custom Scenic Wall Hanging Tile Wedding Favor / Special Occasion Remembrance
50 to 1000 (or more) custom scenic wall hanging tiles, featuring both a raised, textural scene, sketched & hand carved by me, plus my signature watercolor glaze. Your tiles' scene can feature a single home or other building, individual botanical specimen or whole garden, historic site, favorite beach, stylized design with text, or an entire landscape. A truly unique gift option for very special occasions! These are individually hand made works of art in a range of sizes. The 4" x 6" and 5" x 7" tiles in the example photos are my "Tethered Canoes" design, still an available option at this time. Another option is to allow me to create a tile specific to you or your venue, inspired by and through the use of your digital photos! Examples of past custom projects include a family's ancestral home, cathedral, local historic landmarks, corporate headquarters, favorite camping spot, resort landscape, village hall, cityscape, rural farm scene, or elements important to the occasion and participants (i.e., tile featuring an underwater scene, including a stingray, starfish, and seahorse for a local children's museum). *And although I can't take credit for the idea, when the Ritz-Carleton Reynolds Plantation luxury resort in GA ordered these, their events manager wanted a gift for each special occasion attendee that was a Unique Remembrance of their location's tranquil setting, as well as food safe Serving Piece. As I use only food safe glazes, she was able to employ my tiles as both a serving surface for one course of the banquet, then delight guests by pointing out the tiles beneath that course were theirs to take home! I am happy to design and accessorize your tiles with gold-toned artisan crafted hanging loops and felt surface protectors, for wall hanging, display in a stand, or flat surface display, as the customer desires. Incorporation of your logo, date, or monogram into the design may also be an option.

Hi! I'm a 1-person studio artist, hand-building and hand "watercolor-glazing" fine white clay to create original ceramic wall hanging art & tile, special occasion & holiday ornaments, one-of-a-kind pendants, brooches, and collectable buttons. About half of the time, I make relief sculptures from my handcarved designs, including landscapes, monograms, & logos. The other half of the time you can see me working outside, making impressions into clay with hundreds of garden favorites to create "permanent watercolor art," from a tiny 1" pendant to a 3 foot wall hanging art piece, intricately patterned big leaf bowls, or gigantic bouquet serving trays.
Whether I'm creating a dozen small wearable art gifts, hundreds of ornaments, a single tile impression of a local wildflower, or a striking display piece that features an entire garden, I enjoy doing what I do, love both the feel & the look, and believe it shows.
I work primarily in garden & botanical themes, to which I apply my signature watercolor glaze. I work in fine, white earthenware clay, kiln-fire twice, & employ natural elements from my garden to create one-of-a-kind, organic, appealing & memorable pieces for all interior settings & occasions.
