I believe true artistic growth can be expressed only through means of multiple artistic outlets. Because of my commitment to the creative arts and architectural sciences, I am able to continually keep my designs exciting, unique and exceptionally one of a kind.

I received both my Bachelors of Architecture and Fine Art from the Rhode Island School of Design. Prior to attending RISD, I served four years in the United States Marine Corps which gave me a unique opportunity to travel and see the world during combat and peacetime operations.
During my many travels abroad throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East, I was able to immerse myself in multiple influences of art, architecture and building techniques which has become an incredible source of inspiration and knowledge. I try to incorporate in all my work an intelligent, thoughtful insight to make each design unique, honest and timeless.

I worked with Todd on a custom built L shaped bookcase and I couldn't be happier with the final product. I looked everywhere for what I wanted and when I couldn't find it - I stumbled on to CustomMade. I'm glad I did. It has been a really positive experience. Todd is professional, always responded quickly to messages and completed and delivered the shelves on time. He used quality materials and the workmanship is fantastic. I would highly recommend working with him.

I could not be happier with the shelves that Todd made for me. The quality is better than any shelves I have seen. Most refreshing is that Todd communicates well and in a timely fashion and he actually had these delivered to me 5 days early (for those of you who have not experienced the time delays normally associated with custom made furniture it is almost UNHEARD of to have something delivered early let alone on time). I fully intend on using Todd again in the future and if anyone has any questions about my experience with Todd I would be more than happy to answer them. Thanks again Todd. - William Howe

I would highly recommend working with Todd Austin. We were looking for a coffee table of a specific size and saw Todd’s end table on Custom Made. We contacted him to see if he could make us a coffee table in a similar design. He completed the project in about two weeks. The table exceeded my expectations. A beautiful custom-made piece that I am sure will become a family heirloom for many generations to come. I am already brain storming on other pieces of furniture that Todd can create for our home. I rated shipping/delivery five star but our piece was not shipped. CM review system requires you to fill it out to submit your review. Todd happens to live close to us in Connecticut so we were able to meet with him personally and pick-up the completed piece.

Todd was fantastic in every way, and this was a perfect first experience with ordering furniture this way. The table is beautiful, was finished in exactly the time promised, and Todd was always quick with updates and answers. I'd definitely work with him again.
