This leather box was created for a farewell present. The folks use Wil E Coyote as a mascot and work with large blue Pelican boxes. The picture with the black pelican box shows the inspiration, if you can find a picture of the big blue ones with labels on them there is even more of a likeness. Since it is a likeness, not a replica, we used leather with nickle hardware and a silver lining to match the interior, not the plastic and foam like the original. This should make a nice desk box that will always remind him of his time with this crew.

Blue Duck Creations are makers of designer handbags, totes, bags and cases for any need. We can create a unique bag just for you using our materials or yours. We enjoy the collaborative process it takes to create exactly what you desire. We mainly use leather for exteriors, but we can work with many types of materials. We can even take a leather jacket, or other object, that belonged to someone special and turn it into a stunning creation that will remind you of them with every use. ReLoving [our word for reusing, recycling, upcycling] items that you have been saving can make you love them in a totally new way. Having completed an intense designer handbag making course, leather working classes, along with 40+ years sewing experience, I am confident we can create the purse, bag, case, or other creation you have envisioned.

Blue Duck Creations also has a component called Duck Creek Custom Rod Builders. We have been making custom fishing rods for over 15 years. We design and build a fishing rod for fresh or salt-water fishing that will match the reel you have chosen. No matter if it is for casting, spinning, trolling, jigging, or fly fishing we can make a rod as fancy or as subtle as you wish.

Although you may think these two are very different, they have many of the same requirements. Most important to us though, is making a custom project with the utmost attention to detail that will thrill you every time it is used.

    Rick and Kathi at Blue Duck Creations are THE BEST ! I was looking for someone to try and duplicate a very particular leather tophat from a picture I had found. I don't think they could have possibly done it any better. It was absolutely perfect and Rick was very methodical and involved in the process from start to finish.     I loved working with Kathi and Rick at Blue Duck Creations. They created a beautiful leather wallet as a gift for my son. They included every detail I requested and kept me advised of their progress with e-mails and photos. Communication was great.
