This pocket watch case was created following a design the customer requested. This Horween leather case is lined and hand stitched. It is made to slip on a belt. It is deep enough to protect the entire watch, yet easy to get to.

We enjoy the collaborative process it takes to create exactly what you desire. We mainly use leather for exteriors, but we can work with many types of materials. We can even take a leather jacket, or other object, that belonged to someone special and turn it into a stunning creation that will remind you of them with every use. ReLoving [our word for reusing, recycling, upcycling] items that you have been saving can make you love them in a totally new way. Having completed an intense designer handbag making course, leather working classes, along with 40+ years sewing experience, I am confident we can create the purse, bag, case, or other creation you have envisioned.
Blue Duck Creations also has a component called Duck Creek Custom Rod Builders. We have been making custom fishing rods for over 15 years. We design and build a fishing rod for fresh or salt-water fishing that will match the reel you have chosen. No matter if it is for casting, spinning, trolling, jigging, or fly fishing we can make a rod as fancy or as subtle as you wish.
Although you may think these two are very different, they have many of the same requirements. Most important to us though, is making a custom project with the utmost attention to detail that will thrill you every time it is used.

They clearly believe in the philosophy of measuring twice and cutting once. Nov 8, 2013I cannot believe how outstanding Rick and Kathi of Blue Duck Creations were when helping me get my vintage leather cuff, surprise gift right. I gave really rough sketchy photos of the original of how I wanted it to look, and I wasn’t expecting miracles, but Rick and Kathi delivered exactly that. The leather cuffs they made for me are amazing and the likeness to original was everything I wanted and more. They were extremely helpful throughout, giving me suggestions of different materials I could use and lots of different advice but all within keeping to my personal preferences. Their eye for detail is just amazing, the cuff was designed with such care and attention and the end result looks absolutely brilliant. I received great communication throughout the process, which gave me peace of mind and I knew I was being looked after at all times. They were very patient and allowed me to make changes even at short notice. The price was great for all the work involved, and the wonderful customer service I received. I am so lucky to have found Rick and Kathi and I cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work, and for especially making this gift perfect in every way. I couldn’t have wished for more.
